Capp Peace, Canton , Texas , was fishing alone , with worms, for channel catfish at Thousand Trails area of Lake Tawakoni, Texas . He hooked up on this blue cat and following it with his boat, eventually boated it . The fish was worked in after circling several trees and other brush. His dip net was the crappie variety, and too small. He boated it with one hand in the mouth. This is the second large cat he has caught. The first was caught in gravel pit alongside the Trinity River and released without weighing or measuring but was seen by veteran fisherman who estimated it at 40 pounds.

Valerie Peace

|
