the gap really exist ?

Somebody said that there is always a gap between gounger generation and
older one, but when we talk about fishing fans,say, especially fishing activists in
Beijing, is there really any obvious gap which devides the "boys'Ngals" and the
"matured gentlemen and ladies" in terms of the way of how to enjoy fishing
and how 'serious' they would like to treat this matter?

Or, put it in this way, for instance, like, in this BBS forum, there are
many rather young galsNguys around, many of them, may be in great favor
of enjoying nice and easy time near the water, don't really give too much
"respect" to the result of fishing itself or the fishing skills itself like how
precisely one can get the fish "dinning" signals from the bottom of the river...
On the other hand,  needless to say there are also many very much "developed"
adult friends who would like to pay all their nerves into "pure" fishing itself and
they pursue highest possible performance from their gears, focus much more
energy solely on the fishing related skills and apperantly, they are at the same
time very pround of it ..

So,how do think of this?
When the younger ones grow up, do you think they would become more
and more similiar to those older guys and eventually they would become
the very same kind of fishing fans when certain number of ages passed by ?
Or, even if they grow up, they would not be like the older generations anymore
since the world is changing so rapidly and radically in this era, the way
of seeing the world and seeing everything shall vary a lot between generations
and generations, the atitude towards fishing shall vary a lot too, when the
Y, X generations grow up to be matured folks. anyway the life style at that time
may change a whole lot too .......

Captain, you are in the middle of young guy and old adult :)

normally, our mood tends to be a younger boy in the morning while we reach the fishing pool, after half day frustration, our desire tend to calm,just like old man who omit the social conflict, the result leads and forced us to face the reality---both fish and life.

So, one day's fishing is an summarize of one's life, fewer succeed, mostly so so [em08][em06][em05][em01]

I think both age groups have their own apealing.
they can co-exist.
shall we 30-year-old boys&gals enjoy both the youth versatility and
the rational "adults" way of fishing.

i think different people have differnt hobby,but different people also can
have same hobby.Fishing is a leisure which is big number of people love,
these people consist of young,old,boy and girl.
If fishing is a optimistic sport ,it must fascinate people.

Mate, fishing itself has tons of "arguments" that attract anglers, young or old, male or female or even shemale... hehe

I guess people are seeking their own entertainments in fishing, that's why we come together and are divided into various groups, say, Jianghu... There's no such a concept as "real angler" or "twisted fun", cuz everybody is true in terms of his/her purposes of fishing.

I appreciate your expression "co-existance" a lot. The reason why we love this forum is that, though what peple define "fun of fishing" is quite diversed, we are not reluctant to appreciate other people's values. It's just like: we come from different paths to a lake, use different rods, and catch different fish, and then we cheer together: Fishing Is Just Fantastic!
