标题: recipes 1 [打印本页] 作者: Jackson 时间: 2005-1-3 17:21 标题: recipes 1
now very few people choose this form. Here
you have to concoct recipes of so many
ounces of this, so many ounces of that and
find a base mix that not only mixes up well but
boils well and then actually catches fish!
Obviously, if you have a good recipe it is worth

doing but unless you do have one steer well clear of

following such a course of action. For every dry mix that does work well

there have been hundreds that havent even got past the mixing stahe.

Now wiht base mixes and dry ingrdients you are going to need tro combine

dry powder with binder to form a paste. Here is a step by step huide to doing it properly.

l Crack whatever amount of eggs you need
(see recipe below) into a large bowl and beat
thoroughly until a yellow liquid is present.
2 Add to this your flavour, colour and any
other liquid compounds and again stir
Vigorously.
3 Put your dry base mix into a freezer
and give it a good one--minute shake to n
sure all the dry ingredients are mixed tog
properly.
4 Gradually add the dry mix to the eggs,
stirring with a strong fork until a reasonable
paste is formed.
5 Take the paste in your hands and keepi kneading it in the large bowl, putting in mpre base mix until a nice firmish paste is achiieved
As long as the dough is not sticking to your hands and is not cracking, it is properly
mixed.
6 Break a lump off and, using a Gardner
rolling table, roll out a sausage. Keep doing
this until all your mixture is rolled into
sausages.
7 Once you've rolled all your sausages,put
them separately on a Gardner rollaball and
roll out into round balls. Obviously, you
don't need to roll them into balls if you are
fishing at short range as you can chop the
.paste up into all shapes.
8 Put up to twenty baits at a time (18mm ones) in a pan of boiling water and boil for thef
recommended time. This will usually appear
on the base mix recipe and can vary between
1--3 minutes.
9 Once the boiling period is reached, whip them out and put them on a nice absorbent
towel to dry (preferably overnight).
10 Freeze them or take them to the lake
So there you have it -- a step-by-step guide to
making your own boilles. You don't have to
make your own boilles, as many of the cpuntryy's most famous carp anglers Will testify.
